Why do we women wear a bra? Shouldn’t we allow our boobs to feel more comfortable and feel free? Why do we have to add an extra layer of ‘security to cover’ to our ‘saggy bad girls’? And why do we put them at risk of deadly diseases like breast cancer? It’s our body, we must choose not to wear anything that makes us uncomfortable. We should not wear it just because it’s a norm, it’s our right to choose whether or not to wear a bra without feeling unnecessary guilt. A bra is indeed helpful there’s no doubt about that but what most of you might not know is that the support from the bra causes the boobs to lose their natural ability to stay firm and makes us more uncomfortable.
You feel uncomfortable without a bra because you have become so used to with wearing one. Try going bra-less for a month and then when you wear your bra again, for the first time. you will know exactly what I mean.
Let’s change the mindset of our society by celebrating one whole day of freedom and maybe continue beyond this one day.
1. Allows our body to feel more comfortable
Especially in the later stages of pregnancy. I mean, at that time, who cares!!
2. Because that helps the boobs become healthier
3. To express liberty and freedom
I am pretty sure that I am not the only one to associate my liberty and freedom with my ability to wear what I choose
4. To increase your self-confidence and celebrate womanhood
This is somewhat like the last point, and if you need some help- I dare you to go bra-less for a week.
5. Helps us to respect ourselves and express confidence
I mean look at the celebrities. They are the best example of ‘showing confidence‘ and most of them don’t wear a bra. Though I don’t support the outright nudism that goes on with celebrities these days.
6. Because it reduces risk of breast cancer
I read in a research article that wearing a bra may potentially increase the chances of cancer. For me- that I was it. I decided right then, that I am going to try my best to NOT WEAR a bra. And guess what I found?
After that initial discomfort fades, you stop missing it. In fact, I don’t even miss them anymore. And it feels kinda weird when I ‘have to’ wear a bra while going for a meeting. Trust me! It’s worth a try.
7. It’s the natural way to keep them boobs firm
Research finds that wearing a bra hinders the boobs’ natural ability to stay upright and firm. In short, bras are causing breasts to sag. Now, if that’s not a compelling reason for you, I don’t know what is.
8. Because it increases sex drive
This is something you will realize after you try it. But it just feels sexy in a way.
9. Less time needed to get ‘ready’ for sex!
This might sound funny but this one time the tripple-hook bra got stuck and took me so long to unhook it that the hubby lost interest. When I look back, it’s kinda funny in a weird way. That incident alone, sure makes this a valid reason to not wear a bra.
10. Just for the SWAG of it
Just think about it. Why do you need a reason at all? Why can’t we women just try something different, just for the SWAG of it. Without to explain it to ourselves and to others around us. Just do it because you can.
Plus, If you are a little more daring, Sex at a public place is one more thing that you can try for the swag of it.
